Global Deaf Muslim accepts different methods of donation from Ummah. When a donor donates money, GDM will send a thank-you letter via email to acknowledge a donation and that letter can be used to claim a tax deduction on charity if you prepare U.S. tax return. GDM is not qualified to give a tax related advice; a discussion with a tax professional is necessary if more details about tax deduction of donation is needed.
There are 4 different donations GDM are operating:
Open GDM Office – donate money to support GDM’s effort to open an office in Washington DC to coordinate services, to have Deaf staff providing supporting services to Deaf Muslims all over the world, to have a place for meetings and events, and to store educational materials
Quran in ASL – donate money to cover the expenses of producing a video of Quran narrated in American Sign Language for Deaf Muslims to understand and learn about Quran. The expenses are interpreters, video production, and video distribution.
General Fund – donate to support GDM general operating expenses including website, travels, upkeep, supplies, and services.
Interpreter Fund- donate to cover cost of providing interpreters for Deaf Muslims in meetings, mosques, events, conferences, and lectures to allow Deaf Muslims to have equal accessibility to learn about Islam.

You can be part of Friends of Global Deaf Muslim Fund by pledge to donate a specific amount [at least $5] per month to us via debit or credit card. GDM have a system with a bank that allows credit/debit cards to be charged at each month. GDM will notify the Friends 5 days before the first day of each month that their cards will be charged to give the donors a time to decide to continue, increase/decrease the amount, or cancel the donation. Then at the first day of each month, the credit/debit cards will be processed and donors will receive emails notifying them of the charges. This way allows you to be an ongoing supporter of GDM in most convenience way.
